Fashion Week in NYC
Some of the favs so far...
Nanette Lepore
Love her rich colors..she incorporates some of my favs..violets, purples, golds..browns...
Michael Kors
a lot of Black in hot silhouettes (can't go wrong)..with occasional bursts of color..
Anna Sui
she's always been a favorite..she is a little dark, flirty and quirky at the same time..she loves my colors too..violets, fushias..turqouise..loves it
Tracey Reese
She's just the ish..not just because she is a great designer who knows what a woman wants (to look feminine, subtly sexy and comfortable), but she is one of the VERY few Black designers out there...who is not the ex of some mogul, artist etc...who is a REAL designer and holding her own in a competitive industry
Nicole Miller
hands down one of my favorites. She is one of the best dress designers..her dresses
1.FIT (in all the right places, no alterations necessary), 2. are Sexy , yet 3. are comfortable. I live in her dresses.
Herve Leger
unfortunately the red carpet has seen one too many Herve Leger dresses..but as we can see there's more to the line than that one look that the celebs seem to gravitate to...

Chris Brown finally speaks...
Everyone and their momma has had something to say about this Chris Brown & Rihanna fiasco. Last week rumors started flowing about Chris Brown whoopin RiRi's ass (sorry for not being more politically correct). Anyways, who knows what is real and what's just silly rumors @ this point but Chris Brown has finally put out a statement.... here it is people... the moment you've been waiting for...
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”
